Frequently Asked Questions

General

  • An ideal candidate exhibits mild to moderate skin laxity, where the skin shows signs of reduced firmness and resilience. Common examples include a drooping eyebrow line, lax skin on the neck, sagging under the chin, and the presence of lines or wrinkles on the chest. To determine your eligibility as a suitable candidate, it is recommended to consult with our practitioner for a personalized assessment.

  • Choosing between HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and Dotless Plasma Fibroblast depends on your specific skin concerns and preferences.

If you're seeking an overall lifting effect with a focus on deeper layers of the skin, HIFU may be the suitable choice, addressing issues such as skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles.

On the other hand, if you prefer a treatment that works on surface layers and induces micro-trauma to promote collagen production, Dotless Plasma Fibroblast might be more fitting.

Treatments

4D HIFU

  • HIFU, or High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, is a secure and non-surgical ultrasound procedure designed to combat the impacts of aging and gravity on your skin. This treatment harnesses the body's natural regenerative response to delicately and progressively elevate the skin on the eyebrows, under the chin, and along the neck while also smoothing lines and wrinkles on the decolletage.

  • While HIFU targets the deep foundational layer typically addressed in cosmetic surgery, it doesn't aim to replicate the outcomes of a facelift. Nevertheless, it serves as an excellent alternative, particularly for individuals who are not yet prepared for surgical intervention or for patients seeking to prolong the benefits of cosmetic surgery.

  • The duration of the treatment will vary based on the specific area undergoing the procedure. Generally, a face and neck session typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, while a standalone chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.

  • HIFU has been used safely in over 450,000 treatments worldwide, and ultrasound energy itself has a 50-year safe track record in the medical field.

  • After your HIFU Treatment, you may see some initial effect, but the ultimate results will take place over 2-3 months, as your body naturally regenerates collagen. Since the procedure stimulates your own collagen production, how long the results last really depends on you. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but your natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside.

  • Temporary effects may include initial skin flushing during treatment, which may persist for a few hours. Some clients experience temporary swelling, tingling, or tenderness, while less common effects may include temporary bruising or numbness in small skin areas.

Practitioners will discuss any potential rare effects during the consultation.

  • Ideal candidates exhibit mild to moderate skin laxity, such as a lowered eyebrow line, loose neck skin, sagging under the chin, or lines and wrinkles on the chest.

Consultation with a practitioner is the best way to determine candidacy.

  • Benefits can be observed after just one treatment, and future touch-ups can further contribute to combating the natural aging process. Additional sessions may be considered based on factors such as skin laxity, the response to ultrasound energy, and individual collagen-building processes.

  • There is no downtime after a single HIFU treatment. Normal activities can be resumed immediately, and clients often schedule sessions during lunch breaks. No special post-treatment measures are necessary, and skincare and makeup can be applied as usual.

  • During the delivery of ultrasound energy, you may feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, indicating the initiation of the collagen-building process. Comfort levels vary, and the sensation lasts only during the delivery of ultrasound energy. It could be uncomfortable but not painful.

Dotless Plasma Fibroblast

  • It is a dot-free alternative to traditional Plasma Lift treatments. Plasma Skin Tightening represents the latest breakthrough in addressing loose and sagging skin. This non-invasive procedure can significantly reduce the reliance on Botox, potentially replacing the need for fillers and avoiding the inconvenience and expense of surgical facelifts. The revolutionary technique removes excess skin, inducing instant tissue contraction that effectively eliminates wrinkles and sagging.

  • The level of pain experienced during a dotless plasma fibroblast treatment can vary from person to person. Generally, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area beforehand to minimize discomfort. While the procedure itself is typically tolerable, some individuals may still experience mild sensations such as heat, tingling, or a mild pricking feeling.

  • The duration of a Dotless Plasma Fibroblast treatment can vary depending on factors such as the size of the treatment area, the specific technique used, and the individual practitioner's approach. Generally, these treatments can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours.

During the procedure, a device is used to deliver plasma energy to the skin, creating micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production and result in skin tightening. The time required may also depend on the number of areas being treated and the complexity of the case.

  • Usually lasting between 2-3 years, the duration of the effects is contingent on factors such as the number of treatments required, your lifestyle, and the natural aging process. While your skin will continue to age naturally, and as a part of this process, it may relax over time, the effects should endure comparably to those achieved through invasive surgery.

The longevity of results can vary depending on the treated area. Immediate improvements will be noticeable after the initial treatment, with optimal results becoming apparent between 4 and 12 weeks.

ProCell Microchanneling

  • You will see some results after one treatment, but they usually become clearer after the second. The MicroChannel Delivery Serum gives your skin a glow right away and for a few days after. New skin formation, called neo-collagenesis, can start about two weeks after the procedure. Hair regrowth may take up to nine months, as hair follicles shift from resting to active.

  • With 0.25mm and 0.5mm needles, redness typically subsides within a few hours (sometimes less). For 1.0mm and 1.5mm, pinpoint scabbing may persist for a few days.

  • The number of treatments depends on what you're treating. For light anti-aging and skin rejuvenation, 2-3 sessions may be enough. Deeper wrinkles and acne scars might need 5 or more sessions. Hair regrowth treatments need at least 6 sessions. You can have as many treatments as needed, just leave enough time between each session.

  • A 4-week interval is recommended, regardless of needle depth or treatment area.

  • Typically, for the 0.25mm tip, numbing cream is not necessary.

However, for longer lengths, some clients may opt for numbing cream. Hair regrowth treatments do not involve the use of numbing cream.

  • Microchanneling is suitable for all skin types as it is a non-ablative procedure. The following conditions are contraindications: pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes, active herpes simplex in the treatment area, dry skin, and any active inflammatory skin condition such as eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash, or dermatitis at the treatment site, as it may exacerbate the condition.
